While doing plank most people make the mistake of keeping their booty high or in the air and this is the wrong way to do a plank. It may allow you to do it for a longer period but reduces the benefits. You need to keep your spine and booty straight. Do take a note of it while doing planks to get the desired results.
Lying leg lift mistakes:
People focus on doing quantity over quality, the quality rep is where you have contraction and tension in your abs. While doing lying leg lifts, most people raise their lower back a bit along with their legs, if this happens, it may happen that you will not get the maximum benefit of this exercise. Take the help of your hand to keep your lower back against the floor, by doing this, it may happen that you may not be able to do the full range of motion but the main focus should be to put pressure on your core for your abs muscles and this way it will benefit you.
Sits up and crunches mistakes:
While doing sit-ups and crunches, placing your hands behind your neck or head can stop you from achieving your goals. There is nothing wrong with placing your hands in your neck or head but the problem arises when you start pulling your head with your hand. You may get a strain while doing so and you may get tired doing this. The other drawback is that if your abs aren’t doing what they are supposed to be doing with the movement it won’t benefit your abs muscles.
